Agisting & Boarding @ Good Shepherd Farm Alpacas :
It is important to us that you find exactly what your needs require in an Agistor. In 2007, we conducted a study on boarding fees
nationwide. A report was then assembled showing the national and by state average boarding, birthing, and halter training fees.
We understand that the data on the report will change in the future, we still recommend that anyone contemplating boarding their
alpacas, please view this data.

- Agist with Assurance! Rest assured that your investment is in Good hands. We have
expanded our barn to over 1000 sq. ft., 9 stalls, 10' overhangs and 6 large paddocks.
Perimeter fencing of 47" woven wire no climb fencing topped with barbed wire 6’ high to
discourage deer and predators. The alpacas are protected by three Great Pyrenees livestock
guardian dogs and a guard llama.

Rebecca is a dedicated, full time, Alpaca Farmer rarely leaves the barn. With two sons of her
own, both in school, she fights her empty nest hours with the alpacas.
Both Chris and Rebecca have attended birthing and neonatal seminars and make all
attempts to be present during all births as a precaution if a problem birth occurs. Our
experienced camelid veterinarian provides 24hr service.
New owners are welcome to board their animals here until their farm is ready. We encourage
potential boarders to visit many farms and find the best farm that fits their needs.
Package Pricing and Terms
We have designed three boarding packages to choose from, each with their own benefits to
suit your needs.
Our Boarding Fees are re-set in July after hay prices are established. Boarding fees may
very from year to year. The next fee schedule will be posted on July 30th, 2008.
All Veterinary expenses exceeding the Medical Savings Account (option) are to be paid by
the owner.
Boarding fees can be paid through PayPal on a weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly basis by
sending payment to chris.arnold@gsfalpacas.com.
Alpacas purchased from Good Shepherd Farm Alpacas receive 6 months free board.
Basic Board Package
The Basic Package is the best rate package for the owner that wants to care for their alpaca
themselves but does not have the property to sustain them. This benefits of this package are:

* Nearly constant daily supervision
* 24 hour Veterinarian service (experienced camelid Vet. 20min. away)
* Pasture / Water
* Showing animal upon paid show entry, shared stall fees, travel expenses
* Free transport when manditory & required by both Agistor and Boarder at same time.
* Setting up Vetrinarian appointments and assisting the Vetrinarian
* Record Keeping - Records recorded by the Alpaca Ease software. Records and files of
information pertaining to the contracted alpacas will be shared, without condition,
between the Agistor and Boarder. This includes (but is not limited to) information about
medical conditions and services, lineage, show records, professional organizations,
routine service procedures, insurances, etc.
* Listing of Alpacas on AlpacaNation

* 10% Discount on all other GSFA services

Rate: $2.00 per day

The Expanded Basic Package lets you sit back and relax, knowing that your alpacas are in
the Good hands of Good Shepherd Farm. We do all the work while you watch your investment
grow. The Expanded Basic Board Package includes:

* Hay / Blue Seal Alpaca Feed
* Free choice Minerals
* Dr. Evans Fiber Enhancer
* Nail trimming
* Routine service procedures, insurances, etc.
* Animal listing on alpacanation.com & www.gssfalpacas.com

* ALPACAfax TM Lineage History Report (ask for example)
* 1 Free Breeding per year to any Herdsire owned by Good Shepherd Farm Alapaca
- 5% Discount on multiple alpacas after 3rd alpaca, 10% Discount after 6th alpaca
Rate is $3.35 per day
New! All Inclusive Board Package
This all new, All Inclusive spreads out the cost through out the year and also includes a one
time Medical Savings Account in the case of an emergency.
